Travis vs. Arlovski
was pleasantly surprised to see arlo pull through.

was expecting him to dominate and then got dropped by one shot.. happened but he recovered and won.

Browne showed a lot of heart. To be that wobbly and still in the fight is admirable. Arlovski's chin is still suspect, although he did recover from that shot very quickly.

RE: Travis vs. Arlovski
Browne ended up looking good in that fight due to all the punishment he took.

I really thought Browne was going to win once arlovski got dropped.

Tough dude. very durable

I watched it at home.

The wife and kid noted they haven't heard me that excited about a fight for a long time.

RE: Travis vs. Arlovski
Yes that was a CRAZY fight.

I was at a bar, and there was a 12 year old girl there sitting with her folks who was quite traumatized by that, lol

It must have been her first exposure to MMA, she was frozen in horror, jaw dropped, eyes about to cry, glued to the screen

I was bitching AA had no business in there, was pleasantly proved wrong.

That whole card was fucking ACTION.

great night

I damn near lost it watching that fight. The most exciting one that I've seen in a good little bit. Travis Browne had a somewhat similar fight against Overeem, except he came back to win. Not this time. WAR Arlovski. Great card.

RE: Travis vs. Arlovski
whos next for arlovski?, some people are calling for a title shot, but right now the top dogs will eat him alive I think.

i think a fight with mir, or reem might be a good tune up fight, no need to kill the guy feeding him to top dogs too soon. arlovski has real star power and a massive fanbase, the ufc would be wise to let him redevelop. he is doing well.

RE: Travis vs. Arlovski
Arlovski is a bad match-up for Cain.

Arlovski hits harder than JDS. Ask Roy Nelson.

Arlovski has faster hands and better combos with more punch variety and better takedown defence. Sure he's got a shotty chin but you can bet the house Cain will be taking some flush bombs to get work his wall and stall. Any of those flush bombs could put him out.

Cain is not as elusive as DC nor is he as quick.

RE: Travis vs. Arlovski
his chin seems to have improved, he fought anthony johnson in wsof and he lost but completed the fight with a broken jaw

RE: Travis vs. Arlovski
he had jaw surgery most likely. wonder if they fused his jaw with some titanium making it iron now. he hasn't been stopped since.

I remember what happened the last time Arlovski went on a 5 fight win streak...

Me too. And he almost did after Travis dropped him and went in for the finish. But then Travis slipped off his back and AA managed to get up.

That was an exciting fight. I'm glad AA is doing so well. He seems a more complete fighter than when he was the UFC champ. Plus, he's able to sustain more damage/get out dangerous situations better.

I thought this was a horrible matchup for him, but I thought the same of his other recent matchups as well.

Browne must have one of the best chins in MMA. He wasn't even KO'd. He was stopped, but he remained alert.

I would never bet against him losing because of how well he can sustain punishment and then dish out damage.
