heads are not even close to touching. gus's head also appears to be much larger, meaning it's closer to the camera. rumble's head is further from the camera.

not aligned for collision as proven by my vid capture above.

RE: gus v rumble
what is this, you're practicing your C game here? in the event you get into a flamewar stoned or something... you know what I'm talking about, the overhand doesn't hit him in the eye, the headbutt is blatant from many angles.

RE: gus v rumble
I'm glad Gus got knocked out with his stupid haircut... I always root against those types in MMA... Give him a few more years.. He will be covered in horrible tats with an even stupider haircut on top of painted toenails... Dude is queer as fuck on top of being a Euro...

I firmly believe AJ is going to be the new champion when he faces Jones... First or early second round TKO. Jones won't be able to keep AJ off him.. AJ will win.. People will say he got lucky.. Then he will go on to KO Jones even quicker in the rematch to seal the deal...

AJ is too aggressive, too fast, and too strong.. His strikes are on point too. Jones can't backpedal and eyepoke fast enough to stay away from Rumble

RE: gus v rumble
i actually think Jon Jones is stronger than AJ. If they tie up, Jones will win the clinch.

AJ is more explosive. Jon Jones has the grinding strength. he will press AJ against the fence in the first round. make him defend take-downs and wrestle with him against the fence for control. getting blood in those arms. wear out the KO power.

Come 3rd round AJ's punches will look hilariously slow and Jon Jones wins.

AJ doesn't have a good gas tank and he's been broken many times before.

RE: gus v rumble
Jones has proven that he can adapt to any style. I'd never bet against him for that reason, but I'm still intrigued by this fight. If Rumble can avoid getting poked in the eye for the first couple rounds it could be interesting. Jones has a good chin, but he hasn't seen power like this. I tend to agree with Dong's feelings about the fight, but if Jones got KO'd, I wouldn't be completely shocked.

RE: gus v rumble
only for 2 rounds.

Rumble in his entire career has only had 1 KO in to the 3rd and it was against a 170 lb can. the likelihood is his power is explosive and early. like Tyson.

Rumble has a shot in the first 2, then it's over.

He has 13 victories by knock out

7 by KO

6 by TKO

Man is disturbed not by things, but by the views he takes of them.

RE: gus v rumble
he is more likely to go to the decision than score a KO in the 3rd.

that is a very telling stat. his KO power after the first round becomes non-threatening at the high level. Almost non-existant by the 3rd.
