Gusta was a -300 favorite.

in what world should Gusta be a -300 favorite? He has 3 losses now to the American blacks.

however that doesn't mean i wouldn't rally in the streets if they started moving to my neighborhood.

Wasn't based an underdog against davis?

davis isn't gamebred.

A Low-Guard is a mistake against a forward moving power-hitter.

When stunned, you need to clinch until your vision reorients itself. Backing away is taken as a sign of injury and signals an aggressive or explosive opponent to rush you.

When taking constant, heavy damage you have to change position and rebuild your defenses or you lose right then and there.

or smash heads with a rock, that never helps.

this changes everything. You can see his knees buckle after the headbutt, not the punch.

RE: gus v rumble
pretty hard to refute that, it was clearly a headbutt that got him, not the punch. hopefully gus doesnt get too broken down over it, i think he could have won that fight,

RE: gus v rumble
nope. punch landed first. this is the buttsore losers crying again. gus himself said it was the punch.

what i like about rumble is that in the entire finishing sequence, he didn't throw a single illegal shot. Jones and Belfort would have for sure.

btw it's very easy to see if this was a headbutt or not.

You can see clearly here if it's the headbutt or punch by Aleks hair bouncing. Did Aleks' hair bounce when the head came in? or did it bounce when the punch came in?

RE: gus v rumble
The issue isn't that the Head butt was "illegal" it was coincidental and happens in the fight game. Had he thrown it with intent and been obvious about a head but it would be illegal

RE: gus v rumble
you have to look at the frontal angle.

the side angle you can make it look like rumble's head went through gus's head. that's like sleight of hand perspective.

Look at the 2nd slowmo view from Aleks' back. Rumble's head actually goes into Aleks' right shoulder and Aleks' head does not get jerked until the punch arrives.

RE: gus v rumble
upon 3rd viewing, Rumble's head is no where near Alek's. his head dives into aleks' right arm to torque that right hand over.

Aleks' hair perfectly in place with Rumble's head already in his arm.

it's always illegal. If it's determined that it wasn't intentional, then the fight is ruled a no contest.

what necks?

that is the most biased angle possible. In the side view you can clearly see his head snapping back after the headbutt.

RE: gus v rumble
the angle you're looking at is the sleight of hand perspective. it's like 2 people walking past each other. from the side profile, you can argue all day long about how those 2 people walked through each other.

but it's only in the frontal perspective you can see they completely missed each other.

hair does not jerk till the punch arrives. the picture encapsulates it. Gus's hair perfectly in place as johnson's head already completely off line with his head and the punch mili-seconds away.

RE: gus v rumble
you can not even tell if their heads made contact from that angle, you can barely see AJ's melon. his hair jerks with both the punch and the headbutt, watch it again in side view.
