Top official: Russians will 'eat less' to support Putin

This has been the MO for the West for a long time. Russia interfered in the West's regime change in Ukraine and Syria, so now the West is squeezing Russia to facilitate regime change there.

This is specific strategy is basically plan A for the West. Squeeze a country to the point the citizens are starving and dying of disease, in the hopes they do the job themselves and overthrow the leader they don't approve of.

Despicable doesn't even come close to describe this.

Then they forgot how the Russians reacted to Napoleon's invasion. They were willing to raze their entire country to the ground so he had no supply lines.

They laugh at a little belt-tightening. They don't have have to destroy their own cities yet.

Not long ago I was flipping through the channels, and I landed on WWE for a minute. The segment featured a Russian wrestler and their manager, talking about how bad the US is becoming and how Vlad Putin could save the day. Naturally, they had a picture of Poutine up on the big screen.

What the segment accomplished, was literally thousands of 'muricans in attendance booing Vlad Putin in addition to hundreds of thousands (millions?) at home likely doing the same.

Thankfully we have western media to show them (and us) reality as it is. They might not always tell the truth, but when they do, it's about Russia.

Once the backwards Russians know the truth, they'll make the right decision. Failing that we'll make it for them.

Having seen how this plays out in Ukraine, I can't imagine why the Russians are resisting.

He's not clean. He's a duplicitous, scheming ex-KGB son of a bitch. Putin is a soulless strategist who would stab an infant in the eye if he thought it would give him an advantage. But, he's also the only current world leader in a position to stop the ever expanding tendrils of the IMF and their One World Order. Sons of bitches are always the ones that rise to power. The question you have to ask yourself is if its BRICS or the IMF that is worse for:

A) The world
B) You personally
C) Your family and your descendants

After the past 20+ years of Western global dominance, I can safely say that the IMF is worse. Putin is a Jabba the Hut, sure, but in this case he happens to be fighting Darth Vader and the Emperor. For the sake of the planet's future, I sincerely hope he continues his track record of outsmarting this group of James Bond villains:
