Guys like Evilmaster and Redneck are a wealth of knowledge. It blows my mind that they have so many haters.

I guess it didn't matter whether we elected Clinton or Trump.

Things are much better than they seem. There are certain aspects of combined interests that would be fair to call an agenda, because different factions are pushing for similar ideas. Such a large agenda only works if everybody consents to it all the way down. In the states where it is legal to buy directly from farmers, they have decided that they will not except the mainstream opinion on this issue, at least not there. People have the power to do this through their local governments everywhere.

I guess it didn't matter whether we elected Clinton or Trump.

I plan on writing some more about the power people do have, that's probably the next thing I will write about.

^ well they take many isolated incidents and act like it's happening everywhere.

we should be worried but they make it look RAW milk is illegal everywhere.

LOL. but I do think they are cracking down on lemonade stands, garage sales etc.

This is full blown psychological tyranny

Okay the quote system doesn't not ever seem to work for me, wtf??

Any benefits you have noticed?

I can drink a shit ton of milk and not gain weight like processed milk. It's hard to say, because I eat a lot of raw foods now, but I feel much better eating 50-60 percent raw foods then when I ate a SAD diet.

How does it taste in comparison to homogenized/pasteurized?

The taste is the main reason I drink it. Much better quality. However towards the bottom of the bottle it will be mainly skim and have almost no flavor. All the cream rises to the top. You can shake it, but its hard to not use all the fat up first.

Did it take awhile for your body to get used it when you switched?
No

What does it cost?

I pay $8 a gallon, but I am pretty sure that is extremely on the cheap side. I buy from a private farmer not too far from where I live. In the stores it costs double what I pay. Only 1 store in my town sells it.

How long does it keep?

7 days, give or take a day or two. The fridge must be kept on the cold side. Jars must be sealed tight.

Cool. I'm going to find a local farm I can buy it from directly.

Supposedly tastes a lot better, too. Think canned vs. fresh vegetables.

However, it is VERY dangerous if it is bottled and transported long distances. Illness from tainted milk used to be a major source of mortality before pasteurization.

Can taste salty though if the cow isnt milked daily.

Why, it's not like pasteurization is one of the most groundbreaking discoveries of public health, or anything.

If you think it is ok to sell milk bottled in Wisconsin in Oklahoma without sterilizing it first, you are TARD.

the problem is not that this law is harmful, but that it is being applied inconsistently. There is nothing wrong with going to an organic dairy farm to bottle your own milk, as long as it is kept refrigerated and you drink it within a day.

Also trying to apply this approach to modern day factory farming is going to lead to disaster. Pasteurization is a must, when you consider the cramped and unsanitary conditions these animals must ensure.

My friend I dont think anyone is suggesting that we sell raw milk to be transported long distances over weeks at a time to be sold for consumption.

There is nothing stopping shops from taking daily delivery of raw milk and selling it within say 8 hours. Unsold milk can be returned to the provider for many commercial uses.

$16 a gallon in the stores? Holy crap. I bet the taste must be amazing though. The difference from regular to organic and then to the highest level organic is huge enough, can't imagine how good raw milk would taste.

People aren't as dumb as you try to paint them to be. These decisions are made by governments with their own agenda. Why call Americans dumb for what whacky governments do?
