RE: World's Top 25 Airports
SFO is the only decent one I think.. but even then it's just with the looks.

I rank Incheon #1, HK #2..

Asia is blitzing the comp in many fields.

people just don't get it.. they just keep deluding themselves that asians are uncreative.. no matter how much they are destroying the comp!

i am actually trying to tell white people.. that asians could not be happier. they could not be happier that you don't see them as comp!

RE: World's Top 25 Airports
I wonder if TSA is mostly responsible for the US having 0 airport in the top 25, or if it really is overall structure.

the one good thing about SFO is being connected to BART, I hate the shuttle system in most american airports.

RE: World's Top 25 Airports
it's way too slow in the US.

At Incheon from arrival I get out in less than 10 minutes.

at SFO?

try 1 hr.

the line is literally like a great depression era soup line.

also many of the TSA guys are quite hostile too

At Incheon i get INSIDE the airport in less than 10 minutes. Quick efficient checks.

i'm not even exaggerating here.

HK is quick too.. probably 13-15 minutes.

I think public transportation, transportation infrastructure is a good proxy for how developed a country is.

it shows civil planning, logistical skill, construction technique, design, ability to organize etc.

SFO is probably the best in the US. i've been to the one in NY, LAX and LV.. also Oakland.

SFO has a awesome modern look , esp. for the intl section.

in terms of external apperance, SFO I like better than Incheon.

incheon's infamous penis monument. truly a WTF moment.

RE: World's Top 25 Airports
to get the Metro from LAX, you'd have to take a shuttle to the closest bus stop, then a bus to Union Station, then the MEtro to wherever you wanna go. That's probably half of your day wasted already.

SFO is interesting viewed from the top, like a 1950's sci-fi device

Actually central japan airport is up there. This is probably the best in terms of construction quality i've seen.

ultra precision:

however they lose points due to lack of internationalized staff. it's also not as grand or cosmopolitan as incheon or HKG.

central japan airport is built on an artificial manmade island.
