Quote:Knowles reveals the four basic superhero archetypes--the Messiah, the Golem, the Amazon, and the Brotherhood

These are all very obvious, just one example of each archetype - the messiah = superman, the golem = hulk, the amazon = wonder woman, the brotherhood = the avengers.

RE: Batman: An Ancient Mayan God
Right on Allan, great thread!!!!

There is a strong psycholgical angle to this as well and it fits perfectly will the with the OLD TESTAMENT - the God(s) of the material realm are to be worshiped and NEEDED because humans on thier own are too pathetic and are willing to accept punishment if they "step out of line". Adults need a DADDY to care of them(think of how soviet communism was suppose to take care of people and there was no need to have faith in a God - only government.

This kind of a (abusive) relationship really fucks up the mind of a human. When you worship a deity(or anybody for that matter like oprah), you will look down on others or even hate them if they do not worship what you do or hold the same unrealistic ideals as you.

Just think of those two dorks(both grown men) on the OG who worship comic book characters - nightcrawler and savage napkin. Both who got super exited about under amour's comic book character line. Grown men. I bet if thier grandfathers' were alive they would slap the shit out of them for being such dorks. hahahahah

RE: Batman: An Ancient Mayan God
A proper human relationship is based on love, not worship. When you have a healthy relationship with a family member, say a brother, you see him like yourself. Not greater(deserving of worship) or lesser(deserving of hate or pity), but of a respect you would want other to give to you( sounds a little christian, huh).

RE: Batman: An Ancient Mayan God
Christianity is about love

i noticed that the superman movie kind of put christianity in a positive light.

superman visited a catholic priest for advice in the movie.

RE: Batman: An Ancient Mayan God
I have come to the conclusion that most people, even on this forum, don't understand what evil is.

Evil is not stupid, ugly, straightfoward. Evil is ultra-intelligent, ultra bueatiful, and ultra complex. So much so, it is to much for humans. It will overload your senses so you will be amazed or dazzled and susceptable to seduction.

Where would evil or an uber-man fit on a bell curve for intelligence? Way to the right, which is does not represent the human population at all. When humans try to follow the ultra intellignet blindly, they will fail because evil will go where people can't follow. So some people will give up thier humanity to follow.

This is why we are taught to worship intelligence in our masonic school systems - its a form of teaching human hate. Look at the hate spewed on this forum by the more *educated* (really brainwashed) people. They worship intelligent people and hate on those who are stupid or unpolished.
