Thanks redneck. yeah.

they seem to be more influential ideologically in some ways, esp. during the enlightenment.

^^^^ For the record, Luther was a part of the alchemical Rosicrucians, not the wannabe Masonic version.

So was John Dee.

The order they belonged to were the bad ass Rosicrucians.

I'm just trying to figure this shit out like you are.

RE: Martin Luther was a member of the Secretive Rosicrucian Order
EY, an interesting comment on christianity within freemasonry.

Quote:

It would seem that on its inception, the Rose Croix degree was, in fact, an attempt to christianise Freemasonry: To the First Temple of Solomon and the second of Zerubbabel, is added a third, that to which Christ alluded when he said "Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up.” The Pillars of Wisdom, Strength and Beauty, which support the Masonic Temple, are replaced by the Christian pillars of Faith, Hope and Charity. There are thirty-three degrees, which allude to the "Number of years of the Messiah's life on earth.

Fortunately, the Rose Croix degree failed to Christianise Freemasonry, but became the Christian branch of it. So the Principles and Tenets of Craft Masonry, which are based on the Judea-Christian ethic, and are the ultimate foundation and source of Freemasonry, remained intact for brethren of all Faiths to embrace.

In some ways, the 1st. Point of the Rose Croix is a Christian version of the 3rd. Degree. The darkened room and perambulations are there. The glimmering light in the East becomes the Red Cross. The candidate symbolically undergoes dangers, difficulties and afflictions, finding eventual deliverance by the practice of the virtues of Faith, Hope and Charity, and ultimate Perfection through the path originally trodden by Christ the Redeemer. But for the recitation of the sufferings of Hiram Abiff is substituted the reading of Isaiah's beautiful poetic prophesy of .the suffering that one who was to be a Saviour, would have to endure. There are four such prophecies, called the "Suffering Servant" prophecies orpoems.

And, although the Book of Isaiah is not a unity and was written by various writers at different times in the history of the Jewish people, over a period before, during and after the Exile, these prophesies were obviously all written by the same writer.

I know that the 18th degree guys do have to swear to protect and believe in Christ, I think it's because the Rose Croix degree is supposed to represent a Christian Knight.

I'm just trying to figure this shit out like you are.

^ yeah.. I'm starting to realize a strong alliance between these occult orders and protestant Christianity.

but they teach the alchemical reading to initiates.. and leave the literal reading to the sheep.

Yeah, Cooper reads out some pretty interesting esoteric interpretations of the Bible in his Mystery Babylon series. Whenever I hear them, from Cooper, Maxwell or MP Hall, they always make more sense to me than the exoteric version. Cooper explains the esoteric meaning of Judas deceiving Jesus, and after hearing it, I believe him. He talks about the 30 pieces of silver representing the lunar month, the kiss from Judas actually representing a scorpion sting or 'kiss', and being reference to Scorpio.......
I can't recall everything else he said, but it was damn interesting.

I'm just trying to figure this shit out like you are.

Cooper was deep.. very deep.

I think he's still one of the best, if not the best, even after all these years.

I agree THE_DEAN.

EY I don't know that he sympathized with the gnostic view, he would often be critical of it, and he would constantly stress to his listeners that he was just relaying the secret beliefs of these groups, and that it was not his opinion. He would always read it from an old, out of publication, esoteric book, which I think gave it more credibility than if he was just saying "this is what they believe, trust me".

He also claimed to be a christian, in the sense that he agreed with the teachings of Christ, but he seemed to be against the organised church type of christianity because he thought it was corrupt.

I'm just trying to figure this shit out like you are.

^ yeah. William Cooper is/was leagues beyond Alex Jones.

He sounded SERIOUS when he was talking about this stuff and concerned.. and AJ doesn't really give people that impression.

On some level I think he did believe in the esoteric interpretations of the bible.. as do I to some extent. it makes more sense than reading it literally.

I have listened to the whole mystery babylon series and it is highly recommended.

He is also one of the few CT guys that has done enough homework to relay the FACT that these occult societies sought to bring down the roman church.

I really like the source material he used, really rare and full of good information.

it's really amazing how he got all that info without the internet.

even with the internet having ALL the info necessary.. not one mainstream CT guy is on his level.

I also like the fact that he called BS on his own alien stuff. he is after the truth, so he is not afraid to admit being duped.

RE: Martin Luther was a member of the Secretive Rosicrucian Order
yeah but anyways for sure he did not subscribe to a literal reading of the bible like many protestants do.

I think he was in a special situation.

he also liked to use the "occult means hidden" line that jordan maxwell uses... which implies.. it doesn't mean satanic.. it just means hidden from view! haha

From what I can tell, the Rosicrucian Order are largely astro-tards.

For hundreds of years, according to their own literature, they've been preparing for 'The Age of Aquarius'.

And I'm guess the song of that name is a largely a Rosicrucian Order creation.
