Tiger > Lion thread to end the debate
7 – Tiger
At 1,050 psi a tiger's bite is almost twice as strong as that of a lion. This tiger looks to be chewing a rawhide bone, not a real bone. I don't suggest being around when he figures that out.

10 – Lion
At 650 psi, the lion isn't the cat with the strongest bite. Don't let that lull you into a false sense of security, though. An attack by a lion still isn't going to be good for your health.

Lion = OWNED

RE: Tiger > Lion thread to end the debate
the western man has adopted the lion as their apex predator.... therefore, they have this biased perception of the male lion. it's a symbolism of their culture.

the tiger is seen as an asiatic threat. The reality of the matter is, a grown bengal tiger would break the lion's neck 8/10 times. A siberian would do any lion in 10/10 times.

4 – Jaguar
Jaguars have the strongest bite of any cat on the planet. Their 1,350 psi beats out lions and tigers. Their bite is strong enough to go through skull and brain, a favorite way jaguars kill their prey (note to self - avoid jaguars

RE: Tiger > Lion thread to end the debate
The evidence recently gathered says that the northern race of the Bengal tiger, may be as large as the Siberian, at least in some cases. Many males have been found that topped 600 pounds, and these cats do nat have the extra fat layer that Siberians have.

Bengals have more muscle. But hey im a taxi driving Paki so a bit biased.
