The panic that I predicted is finally happening. Those mafioso brothers have handled this product the same way the mafia would handle heroin. Put the competition out of business, get everyone hooked on the pure (`07-`10), and then once you have everybody addicted and the market cornered, start stepping on the product and, at the same time, jack the prices way up. Where else you gonna go for your fix punk!!

Classic dirtbag heroin trafficking mafioso bullshit. And they`re finally getting their panic from the addicts now. Predictable. These mobsters never learn. Greedy.

Someone needs to bank roll a true NHB no time limits tourney.

I can think of a few fighters that would jump at the chance. Jones isnt one of them

i can't stand Dana, and that's y i refuse to give him money.

Yeah man, that guy blames everything and everyone except himself and his crooked company.

Yeah I noticed the card was awful for PPV when I saw Thales Leites's picture on the screen. And what's funny is he was probably the best P4P fighter in the first three fights. His fight with Tom Watson was also easily the best fight of the night, what a war. I'd never even heard of the guys in the fights before and after. And the PPV opening guys I didn't know were flyweights to boot, but it was a good fight...two flyweights with mohawks, looked pretty dumb.

Was there anything better than watching Fedor walk to to the ring in Pride? I mean besides watching the fights. You just knew something was going to happen.

Ever got that feeling watching the UFC entrances?

That fight was fishy I thought. Little luta livre man Tome was winning I thought and he suddenly falls down and covers up for no reason I could see.

Big underdog too, I'm told. Curious.

By the way, Jose Maria Tome was the first luta livre gym affiliated fighter I believe Zuffa has signed since they bought the company back in early '01. Why this is I have no idea. I guess having Luis Dutra Jr on the TUF Brazil 2 show must have paved the way. Too bad 'Besouro' got hurt though. He would have won the season easily. Hope he still gets his chance. The signing of Tome leads me to believe he will.

There will never be anything like it ever again. Dana would never do ramps or Pyro. He HATES PrideFC and everything about it.

^ yeah. it's a personal thing for him. It's more than just about money.

adopting anything "pride" related would be to concede mental defeat.

The Pride presentation was one of the major selling points..making these average men look like titans...even the cans....Titan cans

Man is disturbed not by things, but by the views he takes of them.

Fuji TV is the unsung hero in this. Without Fuji TV, the best live event production team in the world, and by a lot, it's a totally different experience.

they're called U FIGHT CHEAP for a reason.

Also, why are the athletes in the most physical sports making the least amount of money?

Interesting times. I don't think the UFC has ever been as popular as it is now.
