My father taught me about symbols and the need to be aware of their powers before I was in JNR HS. I assumed everyone learnt this from their parents, elders or community.

I think he used the Nike swoosh and coke ribbons as examples. Its really been a long time so I cant remember much but its really just common sense, what commercial entity would spend millions on creating a little symbol simply to beautify their product, we already know that simple primary colors can achieve that and we already know which ones push which buttons on average.
