McDonalds is trash in north america where they go for cheapness and convenience. In other parts of the world they go for convenience and quality, and while not as cheap as in America its still affordable for the middle classes.

i think they make mcd better overseas generally

One of the few good things about McDs in former USSR was free public toilets. Otherwise, former USSR was not super consumer public friendly WRT toilets. I don't know how it is in China, but when you got to go, you got to go.

yeah, free toilets in Chinese mcdos. And free aircon/heat/lights, about half have free wifi. people sit it them for hours often without ordering
