I am not knowledgable of Jewish Messianic Ideology but through my regular reading it seems that Russia has some history of persecuting the Jewish people?

.....and just in case to prevent any assumptions in the above post....I don't wish it to be misread that I'm suggesting Jews are innocent of any historical crimes against humanity themselves and I believe it is in their history that they owned slaves too as example?
