It seems like today's TKD is more like modem fencing. Fencing of today is separated several hundred years when fencing of old was life and death and the tips of the swords were sharp and deadly???!!!

I think when the swords had sharpened tips the style was much effective. Like the filipino bladed arts really grew well into the filipino fighting arts because they come from that martial culture where it was life and death????!!!!
