RE: Tokyo 2020
That is hilarious.
Why can't people just take it as a funny joke?

Brazil won the gold medal in soccer. Brazil have historically done very well in sports events in Japan. The 02 World Cup, Senna World championship wins in Suzuka, Pride FC, Rings and the Olympics.

Brazil Spain final game was very good and action packed.
Some high level soccer.
Japan's biggest weakness is MENTAL. they have all the skills, but get shook too easily.

Very keen observation.
I do think there is some kind of linkage between brazil and japan.
Like some sort of soulmate rivalry going on.
love and hate, and almost polar opposite approaches to life, yet they need each other in some way.

and brazilians seem to respect the japanese a lot and the japanese as well..
but I rarely see Brazilian/Japanese couples.

Those who know, know! Big Grin

Yeah Akihiro Gono said that he wanted to move to Brazil and become a Sushi chef in that Todd Atkins interview. They seem to genuinely like Brazil despite being diametral opposites in almost every way imaginable.

I guess they are the twin flames of nations.
One is more of the Id, the other the superego.

RE: Tokyo 2020
I think that could really be it. One is a melting pot looking for national identity, and the other is a homogeneous nation looking for eccentricity.
Rickson also thinks so.
