I think it would be an interesting to live in MIAMI for 5 years or so to fully take in the experience of the place.

the average 1 or 2 week vacation doesn't really allow a person to know a place, especially a large metropolitan city like MIAMI, NYC, LA, PARIS, LONDON, TOKYO, etc......

1 or 2 weeks is euphoric infatuation or dislike due to holiday stress of not knowing how to get around and fear of what's "foreign"

Costs are actually lower if you put up solar panels which get plenty of sun here.

Here in Orlando we have a large Asian community and a section we call little Vietnam. There's a lot of Vietnamese grocers and stores for that community.

oh yeah. And there seems to be some beautiful women over there.
it's hard to beat a place like NY or LA for the variety of ethnic neighborhoods.
but like I said I'm glad that FLorida is OPEN FOR BUSINESS

Florida has more tourists from within the US.
Intl travellers generally choose LA, NY or SF.

I don't hear much about Japanese/Chinese going to Florida.
Maybe some Europeans go to Florida.. but it's not the intl destination like the other major US cities.

On expensive handbag shopping bags.. you'll see NEW YORK, TOKYO, LOS ANGELES...sometimes san Francisco

but you never see MIAMI

florida is simply LESS INTERNATIONAL

when I went to texas, baltimore and some other places the prices were similar to LA, SF or NY

actually New york has the cheapest food I've ever seen.

You're right. Cheapest food I've ever seen, and everyone eats out. Think I ate Gray's Papaya hotdogs everyday for a month straight when I lived there. But eating like that is terrible for your health.
