most of what we think of Covid is renamed flu and common cold.

Average deaths today are almost half what they were last year at this time despite a massive increase in new cases. Given the huge number of false positives and the propensity to count any death with Covid as a Covid death, I'd say that real Covid cases are almost nonexistent now.

i do believe some virulent strain of coronavirus was around in late 2019-2020
it was most likely the latest strain of SARS from 2003 hence Sars-Cov 2
but this strain quickly disappeared by Summer of 2020

you know this because there were reports of young people dying in early 2020.

but after summer of 2020, rarely did you hear of younger people dying of it

that's the nature of viruses, they get weakened over time.. esp. the stronger ones
