Are there any other awesome self-defense devices in my home that I am not aware of that will protect me from active shooter situations?

I use the staplers like nunchuks for close work, but will throw if absolutely necessary, as long as I have a backup handy.

According to the internets and homeland security, a flashlight and pair of scissors is all you need to stop an active shooter crisis. Lets not make this more complicated than it needs to be
