yeah. I mean how things were back in the day with thrift and passing things down through generations is the way to go
a time honored method.
the way people live now doesn't really make sense
with everything packaged.. global distribution networks

you should have some global goods, but it should mostly be local
even bartering should come back.

it's not even radical these ideas.. it's how the world USED TO BE before the NWO took over.

It's about having a purpose in life, and being useful. Work can transform materials like wood and iron, but it can also transform the person doing the work. I'd rather see 30s style public works projects than handouts.

yeah public works projects are good.. maintenance of what is already there is good
japan has a good system of recycling /reusing materials
they also maintain their infrastructure very well.

Also the promotion of consumption really has to stop. doesn't mean you can't buy things, but people need to have an attitude of thrift.
in some ways it's already happening. I noticed rich people are less into buying stuff and more into experiences..
