RE: Mike Goldberg discusses UFC exit
Bas and Quadros were my favorite. They were great especially early on when they weren't actually live but recording in a studio after the event.
It was hilarious how Bas was in Mark Kerr's corner and commentating at the same time. "Hold on I gotta do something." Camera shows Bas in Kerr's corner. Camera cuts to fight and Bas returns in fake out of breath lolz. They also had a hilarious commentary on Arlovsky vs Datsik. Latter on Bas started to can it, but that's how it is when you are doing so many shows. First you are creative, then the monotony sets in. |

RE: Mike Goldberg discusses UFC exit
i got tired of Bas and his constant liver kick comments.
dude def. had a big ego, even though he was generally friendly. i saw him a few times at Bushido. the events were amazing live. It was very quiet, and it would suddenly get loud when some action was happening. the merchandise was all top notch.. esp. the big booklets they sold. |

He started morphing into a generic sports announcer bot once he made it to the PPV's, but once they let Goldie go they turned him into the sponsor plugs shill and useless stats guy and he become unbearable. |
