He was riding a bike and got shot by the COPS
Kizzee, who was riding a bicycle "in violation of vehicle codes."

CNN)Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies fatally shot Dijon Kizzee, a 29-year-old Black man, during a confrontation Monday afternoon in South LA, sparking protests at the scene.

The sheriff's department says that at about 3:15 p.m. local time two deputies tried to stop Kizzee, who was riding a bicycle "in violation of vehicle codes." When they approached him, he got off the bicycle and ran.
Sheriff's Lt. Brandon Dean told reporters that deputies caught up to the suspect about a block away, and when they approached him, the man punched one of the deputies in the face and dropped items of clothing he had been carrying.
It was at that point deputies "noticed that inside the clothing items he dropped was a black semiautomatic handgun," and that's when both deputies opened fire, shooting the man several times, Dean said. Investigators recovered a handgun from the scene.

The man, later identified by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's Office as Kizzee, was pronounced dead at the scene; an autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday. Neither deputy was injured, Dean said.

from what I read they shot him because he had a gun that dropped out.
not because he had any intent to shoot anyone with it.

Why pull over someone RIDING A BIKE IN VIOLATION OF CODE?

"Why pull over someone RIDING A BIKE IN VIOLATION OF CODE?"

because violating the codes means he was breaking the law.

Policing the little things is how Giuliani and Bloomberg turned NYC from a crime infested shithole into a decent place to live. How long before we find out that the gun was stolen?

It's called the "Broken Windows" theory. If you let little things like broken windows go on unchallenged, you open the door for bigger things to start happening.

that's not what i'm saying.

Why enforce shit like this when they are bigger fish to fry?
Also have a gun drop out of your pocket doesn't warrant someone getting shot.

I guess we'll have to wait and see. Nobody want to see an innocent person shot.

In most cases like this, the person in question has a warrant or felony on his or her record.

I know if I was speeding, then pulled my car over and started running.

Then punched one of the cops and dropped a gun I had in my possession.

I would expect I might get shot by one of them.

Living in Las Vegas, I have no idea what being in violation of a bike code is or whether it's normal for somebody to get stopped for it.

White people are much too racist to be allowed to enjoy the tremendous benefits of diversity. Lock them in their ghettos/suburbs every night, no one enters, no one leaves, IMO. This will have to be very heavily enforced, of course.

The strongest possible warning for anyone daring to leave, and fines for anyone foolish enough to attempt to enter.
