RE: There is a thread on the OG about Ey.com
Steve Casstevens, the head of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) told ABC News Wednesday that “consistently” across the country, departments are changing the way they respond to calls in cases where an officer is not needed on scene.

“We're looking at essential calls for service,” Casstevens, who is also the police chief of Buffalo Grove, Illinois, said in an interview. Situations like losing a license, getting into a fender bender "don't require an emergency response or a sworn officer to respond to."

In Chicago, the police department has told officers “that certain crimes can be handled via citation and misdemeanor summons as opposed to physical arrest,” spokesman Anthony Guglielmi told ABC News.

right now the cops in the US are barely responding to PROPERTY CRIME CALLS.. where thugs break into cars or just walk off with tons of MERCH from stores

the cops need to be enforcing the right shit while treating criminals with some degree of respect.

also I think at this juncture esp. in the US, we need ENHANCED 2A rights.

we've already seen that cops can't protect you .. and most of the crime is NOT HAPPENING IN HOMES

it is happening on the STREET where people are not allowed to be armed

during these RIOTS, there were FEW HOUSE BREAK INS as everyone they assume is strapped

so everyone having a gun would make sense.

I think there should be a concealed carry gun that is tied to your phone so they can track your usage. this would ensure idiots not shooting people over bullshit.

RE: There is a thread on the OG about Ey.com
one time my GF was having panic-attack. Of course she thought it was a heart-attack. So I called 9-11. A BULLY-COP police woman arrived first and then the compassionate EMT.

the BULLYCOP woman begins to BULLY me saying "WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER!?!" My GF is in a near state of shock and fear wanting me near as she iay there in the bed thinking she might expire and of course I too am brain-frazzled in this situation and then when the BULLYCOP starts that nonsense I am at a complete loss in thought over how to respond/what to do....I make the WRONG reaction and things are really going to go south........

FORTUNATELY the compassionate EMTs observed the BULLYCOP's nonsense and told her to LEAVE the room and that really de-escalated a situation which could have turned out badly for me if the BULLYCOP had not been restrained and put in her place!

I wanted to be there with the GF and the BULLYCOP was trying to charge me as an abuser and standing in the way and preventing me from being near the GF.

the whole thing all happened very quickly and could have been trouble if not for that good and keen observing EMT

it was later discovered by my good Doctor's investigative methods that the GF was having some trouble with Hyper-Thyroid condition and after some treatment it helped to correct the problem though she is still an emtional handful!

we should also observe that in MOST places throughout the USA there is NO looting or other nonsense and it's just the usual life and regular activities.

I can step out my door right now without fearful need that I be gunned-up to take a stroll at the park or over to StarBUCK$

RE: There is a thread on the OG about Ey.com
Cops should also not have the right to arrest you just because you called him or her a pig or a fucker.
if you can do that to another citizen without getting arrested, then why should a cop be able to?

They should also NOT BE ALLOWED to pull people over just because "they fit some type of description"
if they do do that, they must show documentation about the car, license plate etc. that they are looking for

they also need to break up the POLICE UNIONS and POLICE FRATERNITIES as these PARA-MASONIC SOCIETIES promote secrecy and loyalty oaths to each other and not the constitution

I do agree with many of the goals of POLICE REFORM and PRISON REFORM

however that is not the whole story and they will find ways of CONTROLLING PEOPLE more through stuff like this.

RE: There is a thread on the OG about Ey.com
there is probably greater chance of me being attacked by the CV germ than some menacing BLM hooligan and so there is probably a higher-probability of needing a MASK than a gun to defend myself against the HIGHEST PROBABILITY threat to my safetyTongue

as irrational as I observe us humans to be, I'm just not convinced that everyone GUNNING-UP is going to lead to social progress

if you are in a major city, the threat of violence is more than normal at this point.
esp. during the last few weeks.

the 1000s of videos we have seen of looting and violence were only a fraction of what happened.

The courts have spoken to this and you have 1a rights to flip a bird or say what you want to cops also. The problem is that you can still be arrested by over-zealous cops anyway. So you have to be willing to stand your ground and fight back in court. It can cost money to assert your rights sometimes. So you should think in terms of law suits. Sue the PD and the city when they falsely arrest you. This is the only way things really change. Unless you are all in then don't even bother.

^^there has been social unrest in the central urban center where such things usually take place as they have throughout history.

and though I live urban and can comfortably walk to markets/cafes within 10/15 minutes walk it is not the urban center where people go to demonstrate their irritations

RE: There is a thread on the OG about Ey.com
.
One of the biggest reasons for police abuse in my opinion is television. The television cops are given so much lee way to act outside of the constitution. I think real cops watch that crap and assume it's normal.

I just watched an episode of Blue Bloods where a lady cop didn't like what a citizen was saying so she kneed him in the crotch and her partner applauded. If a camera caught that then that's a law suit that needed to happen and both cops suspended and maybe fired. She basically assaulted him but TV teaches that this is normal behavior for cops and they are allowed to get away with it.

TV policing is often times illegal policing. People watch that and think it's normal when it's not.

keen observation Pilgrim! TV/MOVIES are a HUGE social influencer and have been for a long time. We people really need to be taught to understand the difference between Film Fantasy and reality! We have oiled-up Body Builders playing the part of a Bear Grylls 'Commando'....if they made a movie about David Goggins he would probaby be played by the Rock!

EY, they don't want to REFORM the police. Just like they don't want to REFORM capitalism/the economy (or the government, for that matter).

They want REVOLUTION.

They want police that are 100% loyal to the leftists. To the planned new regime. To the New World Order, as Lori Lightfoot said.
