Notice how Sowell lays the blame with individual journalists pursuing their individual 'pet political notions' rather than their individual responsibility.

This inflicts them with a type of blindness, where collective action is invisible to them. The picture focuses on 'snowflake leftists' or annoying talking heads or cringe politicians and can't see the pattern. To dumbass conservatives, the Left looks like an a disjointed mob with hypocritical ideas and no fundamental principles. To the more discerning, the Left is a monolith of institutional and cultural power that even envelops the Right.

Ask yourself, how else could the Left have won every cultural battle for the past 60 years? Because they're stupid no-nothings? Because their ideology is laughable? Maybe it's you who has a stupid ideology. Maybe it's you who doesn't understand the nature of power.

Its not that conservatism is a stupid ideology. Who doesn't love God, their family and their nation. The problem is conservatives balls shrank when they started being called racists, even though it is a made up word, less than 100 years old, designed specifically to use white people's empathy against them.

White people as a group have the lowest in-group preference of any ethnicity on Earth, if I remember the studies correctly.

They were then told they are the most prejudiced against others, in the world!

Gotta love Communism for its chutzpah, if nothing else.

He has some really well done books. Economics Facts and Fallacies was the first book of his I read. Great introduction to his way of thinking. Similiar to Freakanomics.

The Quest for Cosmic Justice. Ahead of his time. What is known as social justice today he called cosmic justice. His analysis of the absurdity of the notion that if not for some evil force there would be a equal representation of every race across all fields is detailed and interesting.

Self serving motives are always the qualities he assigns to the people that promote social justice.

That's right, it is because of racism that white people like to go swimming and camping.
