The part I really don't get about the UFC's plan is why not just wait a couple weeks? I think it's possible to hold events safely but why do it when most are projecting it will be the peak of the pandemic in the US? 2-3 weeks later would give you a completely different scenario.

Endeavor/UFC needs, what, 35 shows in 8 months to fulfill the ESPN contract? Remember - the Endeavor IPO got nuked. Saudi money returned. Debt financing is tougher and now banks are clogged with PPP loans. Vince + Ari & Dana are glued to Trump. What's next in the bond market?

The other major shoe to drop on UFC booking 35 events in 8 months? In 60 days, the American TV market will experience an unprecedented sports programming explosion. UFC will be fighting NBA, MLB, NFL, CFB, golf, tennis just for oxygen & TV time blocks.

Why heavy $ concern for Endeavor/UFC? Debt financing drying up fast. IPO failed. Bankruptcy glut soon. US bond market will get hammered. Trump needs COVID-19 bonds. Banks have "liquidity" but won't risk cash on loans not backstopped by US Treasury. Proof:

He thinks the UFC won't fulfill it's 35 show contract with ESPN, and when it returns they will compete against a ton of backlogged sporting events. Financing their debt is going to be tough as banks aren't doing loans that are not backed by the US treasury. The UFC will have bad year for sure, but I don't think this is gonna end them.

On the upside, a lot more UFC fighters are gonna have to accept those 'modelling' gigs that WME/Endeavor has lined up for them!

Soon all these dudes will be jetting off to UAE for all-expense paid weekend trips, of which they will never speak. Strangely the smile from the selfie they took will be nowhere to be seen, when they return home. Instead, there will just be a soulless thousand yard stare.

The story that Chael tells in the last 5 mins of this vid is very fishy.

especially when you google what Steve Wynn' step son looks like:

UFC as a brand is not dying. The real issue at stake is Ari Emanuel and Endeavor's survival.

Plenty of suitors would love to buy UFC - but at what price? Can Ari recover $4 billion USD spent? People aren't appreciating the massive debt levels for sports leagues. It's a time bomb

What was Ari Emanuel thinking in booking UFC events during a pandemic? Endeavor, $, and the impending debt bomb in major US sports.

Ari's discovering what Tom Steyer, Mike Bloomberg, Harvey Weinstein, and other Democrat power brokers have seen in 2020: they have expiration dates

Gavin Newsom shut UFC down because... Ari Emanuel was Trump's agent, Gavin's ex (KG) is w/ Junior, and Dana was Trump's biggest get at the GOP 2016 Convention?

Memo to press: Dana isn't the story. No one made Ari Emanuel create a giant debt bomb to buy UFC. Take responsibility.

So let me make sure I got it right...
1)fighters, staff and all personnel were going to be tested
2)they were going to a county where there is 8 cases total
3) the governors ex is being smashed by trump jr - but we’re cancelling this to be socially responsible Face with rolling eyes

As long as Dana White remains the shiny object in the press, Ari Emanuel will continue to escape his own PR damage. What Ari can't escape is the debt financing he used to buy UFC. If the NBA is freaking out over May 1st payments, imagine Ari's position right now.

UFC is playing a dangerous game. If Dana White won't shut up for the foreseeable future, you will finally see the US media go after Ari Emanuel *hard*. Why? Ari didn't stop push for Tachi shows while brother Zeke is Joe Biden's top doctor surrogate. Democrats rightfully furious.
