That’s not what I asked. But thanks for assuming you answered my imaginary question.

Then you’re right, pug. The numbers are pure BS.

I doubt that they are dying from coronavirus, if they are dying at all.

And now Spain is kicking off and suddenly people are dying everywhere.

The whole thing seems like complete bullshit to me.

I don't think it is complete BS, in terms of there actually being a new flu strain.

But how dangerous it is, how widespread it is, yeah, something is up.

They want to push cashless, they want to push mandatory vaxx, they want to push that government ordering a quarantine is no big deal.

I don't doubt that the bug exists, but I highly doubt that the number of cases are legitimate, especially the death toll. I think they are including deaths by unrelated respiratory illnesses, and anything else they can get away with.

I do not think that all the deaths are due to one specific illness. When in doubt, the coronavirus is conveniently being used as the cause of death. And the media fear mongering, the new laws and restrictions on mobility, the 500 person rule which has effectively suspended movements such as the Hong Kong protests, the Yellow Vest movement, Donald Trump rallies, and in the USA it stops people from exercising their constitutional right to peaceably assemble.

This "pandemic" is being made out to be the apocalypse, and people are intentionally being manipulated into responding in a certain way. Trouble is, most of them are responding in exactly the way they've been told to.

All I see from this is more oppressive measures being introduced each day. This is one of the greatest con-jobs ever pulled.

I'm just trying to figure this shit out like you are.

could be that Italy had more early exposure, perhaps tourism or human-trafficking contribution to cause of spread?

some time ago I watched a movie about Chinese immigrant workers in Italy, maybe it was like sweat-shop type industry, but the Travel Docs most people see give us a romantic impression of a place. Another very good movie to observe the reality of place is "BIUTIFUL" https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1164999/

This could share some light on why mortality rate is as high as it is in Italy

Highlights

In the winter seasons from 2013/14 to 2016/17, an estimated average of 5,290,000 ILI cases occurred in Italy, corresponding to an incidence of 9%.

More than 68,000 deaths attributable to flu epidemics were estimated in the study period.

Italy showed a higher influenza attributable excess mortality compared to other European countries. especially in the elderly.
