Icke's theory virtually mirrors the theory of demonic possession.

He says that the elite are controlled by evil entities from another dimension, that take control of their bodies. He says that they seem to have a reptilian appearance, and that sometimes the eyes and facial features of the host can change.

He also extensively references ancient mythology, and almost every religion from Hindu to Christianity, to prove his point.

I studied the occult for a long time, but never from 1st hand experience. I didn't partake in rituals, or draw sigils, or make sacrifices or chant because I was convinced from the beginning that it was definitely NOT 'all that is good in this world'.

I mean, you only have to take the briefest look at the lives of the likes of Kafka, Nietzsche, Crowley, and HP Lovecraft, to learn that. John Dee and Jack Parsons, another two really good examples.

And I was always trying to find the spiritual tradition that 'knew more' about demonic entities, whether you call them aliens or interdimensional beings, etc. Islam is quite knowledgeable, there are some interesting ideas from India. But ultimately it brought me back to Christianity.

It was funny that it was literally the last place I looked.
