I don't really know what Scofield's version is.

I wouldn't say I have a great grasp of Revelations. I read it and try to understand as well as possible. For me the here and now matters most. Christians are in a spiritual war with evil right now and that is my focus. God will unveil Revelations when it is time to know it. For now knowing Christ and his voice is most important and also getting better at watching and praying.

What is your belief about Revelation, Jho? How do you interpret it?

There is definitely seems to be something to preterism, at least from a strictly linguistic standpoint.

And there definitely are people that will use famous 'prophecies' as blueprints.

This 'fake prediction' is a pretty good example, where you write what has already happened, afterwards and pretend to be a prophet, in order to try pass along some 'important teaching' or message. I.E. that the Chinese people should:

"Remain very close to your families and your neighbors. The best is to have stored up plenty of gold and food to live and share freely with those you love. Tolerate no thieves among the people. Be uniters and not dividers"

Quarantine yourself, and do not criticize the government, i.e. be a 'uniter' not a divider.

Don't have an interpretation. I'm a follower of Christ, not John.

The book of Revelations is still scripture so I try to interpret it as best as possible. It was inspired by Jesus and delivered through John.
