Look at all that money BIG GOV has to spread around the world and is a capital example of why Bernie and Yang are right about Americans deserving some FREEDOM DIVIDENDS and Universal Healthcare!

Iran's rocket attack on the military base was a token gesture and it would not surprise me if they had already negotiated a deal with Trump.

Iran - 'You move your men out of the base and we will hit it with some light missile impact and then we can save face with our people'

USA - 'Sure, we can make that work. But you guys have to then say on Twitter that you don't want no more trouble and that you consider the matter over.'

Iran - 'Yes certainly, we can do this.'

I've been reading that the Iranians tipped off the Iraqis, who in turn informed the Americans. I can see Iraq being used in this way by both parties actually.

during yesterday's dinner discussion I had discussed the power of words in telling the story of history.....attack, liberation, massacre, victory.....and so on........which lead to the discussion of current events and the GF telling me that she had read in the JapNews reports that Iran was claiming 80 mortality from those missile attacks so maybe some peasant pawns were sacrificed or the GF had read/got her info wrong......who knows what to believe!?!

one thing is for certain, the law of action/reaction and so long as the path of violence is pursued it will continue the cycle of revenge and future suffering for those which unfortunately find themselves in the wrong time/place in the future.

The fog of war has been really thick.

Every single claim or allegation has had two versions of it put forward. Like how many people died in the Soleimani strike? Any of them innocent civilians? How many injured? Who knows. But we do know "We got Soleimani!"

Then there was the plane crash the other day. Was it an engine failure? Or a missile? American or Iranian?

How many died from Iran's retaliatory strikes?

If previous wars (going back hundreds of years) were like this, and we have to assume it was the same, if not worse, then you can see how confusing things can become, in a hurry.

doubtful it was any of The Tough Talking Deferment Elites......perhaps it also could have been a trojan horse full of peasant pawns heading out on some clandestine operation?

yep and it's why I decided the best view is from the Top of the Fence as a neutral observer instead of down in the mud among the arguing wingNUT peasantry!

sitting on the fence feels like the view from the Swiss AlpsTongue I also enjoy watching the Davos Deferment Elites convention each year!
