Mcgregor vs Cerrone = basically MMA vs Muay Thai

Donald and Conor both have great timing and fight IQ and it will get to a slugfest like the Diaz fights. Only Donald will cut Conor off and keep chopping at his legs with lowkicks where Nate only threw punches and Conor didn't need to worry about it


Somewhere hoping that Cerrone takes the cake but my guess is that McGregor will be dilligently prepared and picked up on his kickboxing skills and will have an excellent range game with slick counters

Cerrone has been ko'ed a lot lately and they think it's a good fight to build Conor back up, but it may backfire. Masvidal was clearly the fight to make though. He's got the momentum and has never been stopped in the UFC.

Cerrone will probably throw it. Or IOW, fight an 'exciting' fight, against McGregor, before taking a nap late in the 1st round.

That they are even making this fight tells you everything you need to know about McGregor's stock right now. Fighting a journeyman gatekeeper! Who has been knocked OUT twice in the last 6 months.

I think it will be a good fight until Conor lands a hard left on Cowboy. After that Cowboy will play it more defensively. The fight will end up going Conor's way by stoppage or decision, IMO.

Well cerrone has a good range game and timing. He will need some time to figure McGregor out to start chopping on his legs. but the same counts for mcgregor + mcgregor has excellent adapting skills and high fight iq. Whilst Cerrone has a seasoned Muay Thai game which could get difficult for McGregor, dodging lowkicks and elbows, knees flying around during clinching. Cerrone is treacherous during close combat


If Cerrone keeps his Muay Thai composure and doesn’t crack under the pressure McGregor is gonna put on him, he does a chance. They are 2 standup fighters where I favour the Muay Thai skills every day over MMA stand up

But the odds will favour McGregor, in age in momentum and mindset
