Bee Gees - How Can You Mend A Broken Heart

Joss Stone - Al Green - How Can You Mend A BrokenHeart

Love the sensual spin they put on the song.

Simon and Garfunkel - Bridge Over Troubled Water

Aretha Franklin - Bridge Over Troubled Water

Knowing that many artists naturally have big egos, I wonder if it's generally flattering, annoying, or a bit of both when someone does such an outstanding cover of a song they've written? I guess it's a lot easier to take when it's one of the greatest singers of their generation compared to a virtual unknown like Eva Cassidy's cover of Songbird blowing the original completely out of the water.

2 Good Live Covers Of The Chuck Berry Classic

ELO - Roll Over Beethoven

Jerry Lee Lewis - Roll Over Beethoven

Believe it or not, as of 2018, Jerry Lee Lewis was not only still alive but performing as well, at 85 years of age.

Such an great song. I think I like the Stones version a bit better, but what a set of pipes on Rondstadt

Rolling Stones - Tumbling Dice

Linda Ronstadt - Tumbling Dice

sounds like she's saying "People try to rape me"
