I'm sending this to my mom. She's a breast cancer survivor and had a mastectomy done almost 20 years ago. A year later our two female cats ended up dying of breast cancer .

yeah I noticed when I was fighting with my SO... the dogs were more likely to get sick

dogs def. ABSORB negative energy... which can be good in moderation, but if it's in overdrive it can hurt your dog

“What greater gift than the love of a cat.”

― Charles Dickens

it has been a couple years now since my cat passed away from the same form of cancer which has troubled me. He was my best friend and I cared for him until the very end when I carried him to take his last bit of food, then to his litter, and then back to his bed on the floor where I slept by his side in that last week and then he cried out and passed into the next experience.........

It brings me tears now just thinking about it.

before this experience I may have thought someone ridiculous for expressing a human concept of friendship/love for an animal but I loved that cat the same as I have ever loved a human and I could talk about him and his quirks for too long........

not easy to share that story and not sure if I will ever allow myself to know the friendship of another male cat. I have a female cat companion which I've had for some years now, she's great but has the nature of an animal quite different to the human quality the male cat whose friendship I will always miss until the day I see him again!

very interesting how the video says that inactivated artists types who are too bored or too weak to take on an artistic activity get a dog as a replacement for artistic SUN ENERGY

There is some Norwegian author, a pretty famous guy (but I haven't read his books) Karl Ove.

And he said when he had a dog he 'couldn't write at all'. But that doesn't make sense to me. Your dog needs exercise. If you just sit there trying to write all day, of course your dog will lose his mind, and end up distracting you ALL DAY.
