dead body thrown out of a building.

There had been dozens, probably over a hundred by now, of mysterious "suicides" over the last few months since the protests started getting violent (there were 2 in my neighbourhood). All immediately ruled unsuspicious by the police. Here's the first actual video of one, taken by a domestic worker. I believe the domestic worker who took the video is now under arrest. hmmmmm.... does the body look concious to you? Or was it thrown out by someone else?

But EY said police in America are actually more violent.

RE: 1 million people in Hong Kong protest Extradition Law
things have changed a bit

Chinese cops USED to be more lenient.. but they have toughened up in the last 4-5 years

US cops USED to be more about ENFORCING but BLM changed all that.

US cops are nowhere as "HARD" as they used to be before BLM and SMARTPHONE capture.

US cops are more trigger happy. Chinese cops are more cruel/sadistic.

I suspect that what made US cops so "HARD" in the past was from watching police TV shows that showed cops violating peoples rights and liberties. Check out Chicago PD for a current example of that. They kick in doors without warrants and assault people without recourse.

Cell phones have done a lot to teach cops the laws. They began to be held accountable in the courts for what actually happened and not their biased and often inaccurate version of events.

yeah but there was also no pushback generally

BLM is what caused COPS to get pressure

at first it was a good thing, but now I think cops in the US are way too skittish in general.. they are letting people get away with too much

perhaps this is being done by DESIGN to make MURICANS beg for CHINESE style surveillance.

the crime in the US is OUT OF CONTROL NOW.

the stats are completely bogus

ULTRA VIOLENT crime may be down but robberies, property crime etc. are WAAAAAY UP

I think you are wrong about that. I think the main changing force on cops has been the 1A auditors. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Amendment_audits

Go check the youtube channels for guys like "News Now Houston". These guys have done more to change police behavior than anyone.

Young black kid in Houston who goes by "The Battousi" actually got the laws changed in the 5th circuit courts that control Texas, Missippi and Louisiana. To read his victory look up Turner vs Driver. Cops arrested him for filming. He was defeated in court and the kid kept fighting at the 5th circuit court level. Courts ruled cops arrested him wrongly and citizens have a right to film cops.

PHILLIP TURNER v. LIEUTENANT DRIVER

Here's Phillip Turner's video talking about the decision.

Spend some time looking at the videos on News Now Houston's page. You get an idea of what these 1a auditors have been doing for years and the price they have paid to do it. Arrests, abuse..etc.

Crime will be legal, and protecting yourself/preventing crime will be illegal.

This is being trialed in South Africa right now. If you break into someone's house and kill them, no big deal (as long as you kill an old white person, of course), the police will go through the motions of 'trying to solve the crime'. But if you shoot someone who is breaking into your house, with intent to rape your grandma and torture you?

You just committed murder, son. Go to jail. Plus, it is probably a hate crime because you used 'excessive force' on a 'POC'.

I was just here. Chinese new year, street hawkers out in full effect, huge crowds out for the street food. Riot cops came and fired teargas. WTF? There was no riot! Good thing I had already gotten my food and was sitting inside a KFC when it happened.

No. They are illegal except for the first 3 days of Chinese new year. Thats why there are HUGE street food markets every CNY.

Quote:Hong Kong’s city leader Carrie Lam declared a state of emergency and said all primary and secondary schools would close until Feb. 17, two more weeks in addition to next week’s Lunar New Year holiday, the Associated Press reported.

The city’s marathon scheduled for Feb. 9, which typically attracts 70,000 participants, was also cancelled. Most of the cornavirus fatalities were older patients, although a 36-year-old man in Hubei died earlier this week, it added. Several major theme parks have also been shuttered.
