dude was asking for it

it says "BLACK COP" black meaning EVIL in Chinese

I just saw him today, in the same spot, just outside Langham Place. The graffiti is gone though. It wasn't his work... was done by protesters. That spot is a regular spot for various buskers.

Oh boy. We have our first confirmed martyr. 22 year old dude was running away from tear gas and fell off the 3rd floor of a parking lot. Some residents and firemen were trying to save him and called the ambulance. Police then blocked the roads and prevented ambulance from arriving until half an hour later. When they finally got the guy in the ambulance, police fired tear gas at the ambulance as it drove off... WTF?

Anyways, this morning the dude died. It's friday, just in time for more weekend chaos. This is gonna be baaaaad.

You see the protester knife the politician?

Was it really a Pro-HK supporter or was he a provocateur?

Yeah, lots of fuckery with this too.

First, the guy who stabbed him, looks exactly like this guy who shook hands with him several months back when he (the politician) allegedly hired triads to terrorize commuters in a subway station. There were pics circulating within hours of it happening.

Also, the news was reported on pro-CCP news sites in China HOURS before the incident even happened.

And several other things that doesn't add up. Some say it's an attempt to cancel the upcoming district elections to cite it as too dangerous or some shit when most likely they're afraid of losing all the seats to pro-dem candidates.

Oh its bad. I hear Lan Kwai Fong business is down 70%. All the tourist areas, shopping and entertainment districts are crying.

Fortunately, mine's a neighborhood store. People mostly just go to work, then come home and stay home now. So neighborhood businesses are still doing ok for now.

LOL... but it makes up for it with the atmosphere. A friend of mine came to visit in March and I took him there. He said it reminded him of the night life in Colombia. He is very well travelled... avid diver. That was also the last time I was there.

Sigh.

Quote:Hong Kong stocks suffered their worst fall in three months on Monday, as anti-government protests turned into horrifying scenes, including a man being set on fire.
A college-aged protester was shot and petrol bombs were thrown into a subway train with passengers in a day that spun from one shocking scene to another in a city long known for its safety and efficiency.

Funny story last night. I was having a BBQ and blasting music by Top Intl DJs thinking all the cops would be busy elsewhere. Then at around midnight a police van came by and 3 officers in full riot gear stepped out to tell us to turn down the music, LOL... I almost busted out laughing.

Do you think the man set of fire was done by provocateurs, or by legit, well meaning protestors (that lost their mind, or have settled on using extreme violence)?

Both are possibilities. But there are pics of the man casually walking away shirtless afterwards. I'm no expert on burns but can one simply just walk away after being burned alive? *dodgy*
