Liverpool firmly in control, not taking any risks, letting Tottenham have the ball, while they press with 10 men, behind the ball.

Very methodical.

Tottenham is trying to walk their way back into the game, but it will get interesting when they have to take more risks. Around 60 minute mark, if things stay like this.

He is the danger man. Kane is just a goalpoacher (albeit one of the better ones).

Set pieces will be vital to start the 2nd half, and then it will open up as Tottenham try to push one of their fullbacks (wingbacks) up the field. Probably Sissoko. Danny Rose is good defensively but pretty trash on the ball.

Liverpool will score on the counter, around 60 or 65 minutes, IMO.

Kane did NOTHING. absolutely nothing. dude is a joke

SON had a few good chances.. but he was also timid on some occassions

that first PENALTY set the mood for the entire match

That was a lights out penalty (i.e. the ref could have called that in the dark) though, and I despise the idea of reffing the first few minutes differently.

I would have given the penalty on Kane though, in the like 88th minute, maybe because it was 2-0 and it would keep it interesting though. It was shoulder to shoulder and not really a blatant foul.

It took Tottenham a LOT longer to start being more aggressive than I thought they would. Only 70-75 minutes in. Moura helped. Apparently Kane was just coming back from injury, so looks like a mistake by the manager.

Eriksen's free kick... Looked like it was going in before Alisson flew across the goal! Great stop.

Liverpool is a good story too though. Great run in the EPL, only to slowly drop points and be unable to catch Man City. In last year's UCL Final, only to be let down (to an extent) by their GK (who was replaced at great cost).

Great (!!!) comeback against Barcelona, to win 4-0 (although the 4th was a bit cheap), kept Messi real quiet.

Eriksen didn't have a great game for Tottenham either. Usually he is very influential, smart and technical player. Alli... and Kane. Both slightly over-rated because they are English.

For years teams didn't want to buy Son because they were afraid he was going to be forced to serve 2 years in the Korean Army!
