Tulsi Gabbard has already been selected to be the next president. They'll probably make it official at the next Bilderberg meeting.

And the media will play it exactly like Trump's election. "No! Don't vote for her!"

Hillary will come out and endorse Kamala Harris or Beto O Rourke, and the crowd will roar "Tulsi! Tulsi! Tulsi! Take our guns away!"

RE: the best democratic presidential candidate for 2020. ANDREW YANG
this dude is so on point it's not even funny. at least with UBI

UBI is pro-capitalist... pro job creator

it's also PRO-CT

if you're less worried about the bills you have more time to read places like EY.com

the traditional model was to extract so much labor out of you so you have no time to think.

this dude is very pro business and seems very pro common sense. he has an alpha personality as well

RE: the best democratic presidential candidate for 2020. ANDREW YANG
Who Is Andrew Yang, and Why Do the Gen Z Kids Love Him?

We’re more than a year-and-a-half out from the next presidential election and the race is already incredibly crowded, and with more than a handful of prominent politicians with recognizable names, like senators Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker, Kirsten Gillibrand, and Kamala Harris. And then, there’s Andrew Yang, an entrepreneur with a meme-loving — and growing — base comprised of many teens, but also of denizens of 4chan and far-right individuals who believe that Yang is worried about the white birth rate. (Yang has denounced this last group.)

When Yang first launched his 2020 presidential bid in late 2017, no one took him seriously. But today, some polls and pundits are giving him better odds than candidates like Gillibrand and congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard. Curious about the #YangGang, or maybe even his platform? (He wants to give you $1,000 a month.)

Below, here’s what we know about the 2020 Democratic candidate.

First of all: Who is Andrew Yang?
He’s a lawyer-turned-tech dude who most recently launched the nonprofit Venture for America, which seeks to revitalize Rust Belt cities by encouraging entrepreneurs to move there and start businesses. Oh, and he’s running for president.

Yang filed to run way back on November 6, 2017, and in February 2018, he spoke to the New York Times about his platform — which, as the paper notes, is the only one with a focus on “the robot apocalypse.”

He wants to give every adult $1,000 a month.
At the center of Yang’s platform is the Freedom Dividend, which is a form of universal basic income (UBI), a somewhat bipartisan concept that has become a favorite of many entrepreneurs. (Hi, Mark Zuckerberg.) In an attempt to weather the aforementioned robot apocalypse, which Yang believes is impending, everyone over the age of 18 would receive $1,000 a month.

“All you need is self-driving cars to destabilize society,” he told the Times, adding that, in a few years, “we’re going to have a million truck drivers out of work who are 94 percent male, with an average level of education of high school or one year of college … And we’re about to do the same thing to retail workers, call center workers, fast-food workers, insurance companies, accounting firms.” He believes UBI is the best solution to this.

Other than his UBI, Yang also supports many of the big progressive issues — Medicare for all, legalized marijuana, paid parental leave — as well as some more interesting policies, such as his American Mall Act, which would revitalize shuttered malls. He’s also a proponent of what he has come to call “human-centered capitalism,” as opposed to, say, socialism.

hell yeah. MALL REVITALIZATION ACT.

yep. even places like DETROIT have tons of potential.

Yang would be very pro business. Tons of europeans want to move to Detroit and do stuff there. The dystopian aesthetic is very appealing to many actually these days.

America has SO MUCH MORE POTENTIAL it's not even funny. we need someone like ANDREW YANG to revitalize it. so far TRUMP HAS BEEN A DUD!

this South by southwest talk.. has been a gamechanger for Yang. If Yang is given a platform he EASILY beats the rest of the field. None of the libtard firebrands in the field can compete with is intellect and practical solutions!

UBI is sorely needed

also MOTHERHOOD, CHILD REARING IS AN UNPAID JOB

I would go further and GIVE MORE MONEY to stay at home moms (or dads)

UBI has the potential to boost social conservatism and invidualism.

with extra cash people can pursue who they want to be.

Universal healthcare is entirely needed. the current system is a COMPLETE PRICE GOUGING disaster.

This dude would verbally destroy TRUMP.. as he possesses much more raw intelligence.

Trump would not want to be facing this dude during the debates.

RE: the BEST democratic presidential candidate for 2020. ANDREW YANG
Quote:ANDREW’S BACKGROUND
I was born in upstate New York in 1975. My parents immigrated from Taiwan in the 1960s and met in grad school. My Dad was a researcher at IBM—he generated 69 patents over his career—and my Mom was the systems administrator at a local university. My brother and I grew up pretty nerdy. We also grew up believing in the American Dream—it’s why my parents came here.

I studied economics and political science at Brown and went to law school at Columbia. After a brief stint as a corporate lawyer, I realized it wasn’t for me. I launched a small company in the early days of the internet that didn’t work out, and then worked for a healthcare startup, where I learned how to build a business from more experienced entrepreneurs. In my thirties, I ran a national education company that grew to become #1 in the country. I also met my wife, Evelyn, and got married. My education company was acquired, and with Evelyn’s support, I decided to take my earnings and committed myself to creating jobs in cities hit hard by the financial crisis. By that time I understood the power of entrepreneurship to generate economic growth, so I founded Venture for America, an organization that helps entrepreneurs create jobs in cities like Baltimore, Detroit, Pittsburgh, and Cleveland.

In its first year, VFA trained 40 Fellows; by 2017, more than 500 VFA Fellows and alumni have launched dozens of companies and helped create over 2,500 jobs across the country. I even received a few awards from the Obama White House, being named a Champion of Change in 2012 and a Presidential Ambassador for Global Entrepreneurship in 2015. VFA resonates with so many people because it’s clear there’s a growing problem in the U.S.: automation is destroying jobs and entire regions are being left behind. For years I believed new business formation was the answer—if we could train a new generation of entrepreneurs and create the right jobs in the right places, we could stop the downward spiral of growing income inequality, poverty, unemployment, and hopelessness. VFA created jobs by the thousands and continues to do amazing work across the country. But along the way, it became clear to me that job creation will not outpace the massive impending job loss due to automation. Those days are simply over.

We need to think bigger about the problems facing our country, and that is why I’m running for president in 2020.
