RE: Mongolian Folk Rock
also another deathblow to Fomenko's theory.

the Confucius or "KONG" family line can be traced back to 80 generations

I'm pretty sure many have been DNA tested. There are 2 million descendants alive today

Asia refutes FOMENKO

but i'm sure Jesuit scholars and various aristocrats did tinker with European history

He's right about some things, but he cherry picks his data

also CR, you're Christian right?

Fomenko Asserts that Pope Gregory 7 and Jesus were the same person

do you accept that?

RE: Mongolian Folk Rock
Ultimately, how China is today is how China is today.
Same goes for Russia, American, all of Africa, and Europe.

For now I am still trying to get a grip on Western European/Mediterranean history, of the last 1000 years (preferably only the last 700, but sometimes you have to go back further).

I am really impressed with how Russia re-found its identity and spirituality after 70 years under the 'Communist Yoke' Big Grin

In the 90s we were told how post-Communism, Russian men just all became alcoholics. Well, Fomenko, I am pretty sure is not an alcoholic!

It goes to show that a country can recover from something as devastating as what the west is facing today, in Post-Modernism, Cultural Marxist thought, that looks to destroy the family, the nation, and God.

RE: Mongolian Folk Rock
yes.. 80 years of New York Funded Bolshevik communism could not break the Russian spirit

that is impressive

but I also think it's important to be level headed and not go too far to support Nationalistic chronologies

Some of the stuff he says about Europe makes sense though, esp. since many diff. calendars were in usage at the time

his most interesting idea is that the old testament is newer than the new testament

i have heard this before but have not researched it thoroughly

Look into the Puritans! 'Christians' who only followed the Old Testament. They are famous for.... Salem Witch trials!

This whole question of what is more interesting/impressive/influential, the NEW NOVEL IDEA, or the ANCIENT TRIED AND TRUE idea. You even see it today. They push the occult as NEW and fashionable, but Christianity as the old.

Which is hilarious when you consider that Christianity was adopted because it was the NEW NOVEL idea, opposed to the way things were previously, with blood sacrifice of the innocents, every kind of perversion (if you don't know which ones, just look around you, because they are coming back again). Then people say "Well, Jesus was a sacrifice!" Yeah, he was supposed to put an END to that era, with his sacrifice.
