Net users can’t believe that this local government official is only 38 years old
The cadre's hair is said to have turned grey after years of tireless work fighting poverty in one of China's poorest regions

While Chinese officials are infamous for attempting to stave off the ravagings of aging by dying their hair jet black, one cadre has gone the other way, now looking 20 years older than his true age, purportedly after years of working hard to reduce poverty in rural Yunnan province.

Li Zhongkai was born in 1980, though you certainly wouldn’t know that from his official government profile picture. Li serves as the local secretary of the party committee in Wanbi town of Dayao county, one of China’s poorest regions. Since the age of 16, he has worked as a civil servant. For the last three years, he has headed efforts to lift local residents out of poverty.

Over the weekend, Li’s photo went viral across Chinese social media with netizens voicing their skepticism that the man in the picture could really be so young. However, the local government has stepped forward to insist that the image is indeed of the 38-year-old Li, claiming that his hair had grown grey after years of hard work.

For his part, Li told reporters that he was surprised by all the attention that his appearance was getting, explaining that he had been too busy with work to consider dying his hair black before the photo was to be taken.

the real myth that asian men age better.

this guy is in his late 30's looks like he's in his 20's. does he look better than even the guys behind him? no he doesn't.

0 sexual dimorphism.

guy on the right is 41. he looks young for his age no doubt. is he going to get women in the west?

no. his features are really good too if you look closely. do women not appreciate his high nose and big eyes and plush skin in the west? that he had to go back to HK to marry a 3/10?

it doesn't matter how old you look. it matters how good and masculine you look. period.

with Murata and Korean Zombie both losing their last fights.

you can clearly see Asians don't retain their athletic prowess as well as the other races either. Sharp decline in performance once 30 hits. Goes right alongside, Sakuraba, Gomi, Kid etc

it's interesting some people look better old, they just age well.

what matters most is modern living. Look at people which live a more primitive existence.....poor rural living people, nomadics, mountain people, bush people these people look much different at 30 than people which live a WALKING DISTANCE to StarBUCK$ experienceTongue

sometimes I am jealous of the primitives though....I admire their toughness and their survival knowledge and lack of First World Problems where they do not suffer the misery of stress as they enjoy late nights around the camp fires gazing up at the stars and telling stories of their hunting and fishing adventures!

a balance is needed.

you need to workout to at least retain your masculinity.

the worst are the skinnyfat boys turn into skinnyfat men. it's over at that point.

I think the Fitness Fanatics over-estimate the value of a "working out" bod at the expense of development for other equally important character qualities. This vanity is a obvious result of some insecurity.

If one practice a moderate habit of exercise and reasonable discipline of dietary portion control and then applies his energies to other endeavors to develop a more complete character he will be a more desirable product compared to the limited Fitness Fanatic specialist.

If we observe the annual "Sexiest Man Alive" magazine results it is not usually the Fitness Fanatic which wins.
