Quintet 3 was the best Grappling event of All Time
I've watched a lot of great sport Jiujitsu. The entire ADCC encyclopedia from 2001-2009, LASUBX, Rickson Gracie Budo Challenge, Genki Sudo's Ikkiuchi, Metamoris, Ultimate Absolute, Eddie Bravo Invitationals, Combat Jiujitsu, Kasai, Polaris and all the rest.

The event Sakuraba threw in Vegas last week was by far the best, most entertaining, most satisfying grappling event I've ever watched. I bought Fight-Pass for a month just to watch it. I'll find a way to share it with you guys and post a link in the near future.

RE: Quintet 3 was the best Grappling event of All Time
The format was a little tricky to understand, but it worked beautifully.

-- 4 Teams with 5 Members each.
-- The Teams represent real-life Dojos, but with some superstar talent added.
-- The Teams face off one at a time: Team A vs Team B, then Team C vs Team D.
-- The Two winning teams then face-off to determine who wins the event.
-- Each team puts together a bracket; an order of competitors to be played. (Think of Marvel vs Capcom or any of the team fighting games)
-- The matches are submission-only, no-holds-barred, 8-minutes, no overtime.
-- If a fighter achieves a submission victory, he moves on to face the next opponent.
-- If a match goes the distance, both fighters are eliminated.
-- Once all Five fighters have been eliminated, that team loses and the other team advances.
-- The refs aggressively call stalling, sometimes unfairly, to set a precedent.
-- 3 Warnings for stalling and your are disqualified.
-- 4 additional super-fights are on the card for fan enjoyment.

I tried ripping the video but it's skipping a second every 15 seconds or so. Very annoying.
