I think there is pressure to make all Moon pics look like Apollo pics. So if the soil looks 'too brown', they adjust it. But it is possible too that they don't show us the real pics, because they can't transmit the high res photos as easily over the vast distance, as they would have us believe.

So then you have to wait for the craft to come back, with the photos, by which time the excitement of the mission has died down.

I have never seen a even somewhat convincing Flat Earth argument. The best they can do is some vague reference to the 'firmament' in the Bible, but rather than just assume it refers to space, or the atmosphere, they say "Yep, glass dome confirmed!"

China has planted life on the moon.

supposedly it's encased in a mini biosphere

why only close up pics?

RE: July 21, 1969: Man walks on the Moon for the 1st time?
They could be on the Moon, it is just a probe after all.

Maybe the Photoshop/post-production comes in because American government has insisted it has to look like Apollo, i.e. completely black skies, grey, not brown, dirt.

So one the one hand it might be easier to make those shots using their simulators, and on the other, it could just be the pics have been altered, but not because they are fake, but because they don't look like how NASA insists they must look (and how the Moon surface has looked in past missions).

Now, maybe my computer screen is just dirty, but uhh, what is that over the horizon, in these Soviet Lunokhod shots?

Shit, they are even admitting now that the Moon has a (very slight) atmosphere.

RE: July 21, 1969: Man walks on the Moon for the 1st time?
considering how little disturbance there is to the lunar surface from these videos

why don't they land something like half a mile out from an apollo site and just say HI to the old missions?

Us landed what 4-5x?

they can't even let one of the landing sites be open to visitation from robotic rovers?

makes no sense

imagine the PR for USA if China said hi to their achievement from FIDDY YEARS AGO!

Filmmaker 'proves' Stanley Kubrick faked Apollo 11 landing

An article/interview with Jay Weidner, in a British tabloid.

He does his usual "I'm not saying we didn't go to the Moon, just that all the footage they showed us, of men on the Moon is fake" routine.

I figure he is keenly aware of what he can prove, and what he can't, and what he is up against.

So to protect himself from 'patriots' who 'want to believe', he has to say "I'm not saying we didn't go to the Moon, just that the footage we were shown FROM the Moon was faked".

And it protects him from government retribution too, because they can't say he "denies the Moon landing".

I see it a lot, like with Joe Rogan who now claims to have "no opinion" on the Apollo Program because he's "no expert".

Steph Curry, too, high profile guy that had to walk it back.

And a lot of the Youtubers, they will get shut down if the expose Apollo, but if they expose Apollo and PROMOTE FLAT EARTH, then they will in turn be promoted, get tons of views and subscribers. But otherwise, if you don't get on board flat earth, they will literally harass you in your chat and comment section! They will even volunteer to moderate your chat, if you do livestreams.

And then promote flat earth garbage in the chat.

Such a bane on the 'truth community'.

if you read Cass Sunstein's paper on conspiracy theories, he says "cognitive diversity" needs to be introduced to break up the community

I guess flat earth is COGNITIVE DIVERSITY

This is what happens when you rate your success based on views and subscribers.

They will literally threaten you, the small but vocal FE group, that they will unsub and not watch your videos.

Even had Owen Benjamin 'looking into it', although he was not buying it, he was afraid to go one way or the other, for quite a while.

The guy from 'The Public Space' also had to recently 'look into it' because Flat Earthers were pestering him. He came away concluding that the Moon landing was real, and that the Earth is not flat.

I did try to 'seriously look into it', but the videos were using known psy-op techniques, primarily relying on repetition. So a 17 minute video is made into a 50 minute video, through repeating everything, literally every sentence, three times. And then people feel like they have 'committed' time to it, so they would be stupid to have wasted their time, so their must be 'something to it'.

And it is a fact that NASA lies, and uses computer generated imagery some times. So you show them that, and say "They are lying about everything!" and probably 10-15% of people become convinced.

What they seem to miss is that for disinformation to work, you have to MIX the truth with lies. Like in Apollo, real rocket launches, mixed with fake Moon footage.

RE: July 21, 1969: Man walks on the Moon for the 1st time?
maybe they did land on the moon, but what we were shown IMO is BS

however, there was no real 3rd party verification

if it is so simple for China to land a robot on the moon, why wouldn't the US land a robot near one of the landing sites to say hi to the old missions?

also why are they saying CHina and US are in a space race when US did what CHina did like 60 years ago?

ridiculous

They landed probes and rovers on the Moon. Astronauts... The only way I will believe it is when they do it 'again'.

And they jump 6 ft into the air this time.

RE: July 21, 1969: Man walks on the Moon for the 1st time?
yeah also remember when all the debunkers would be like "there is nothing to see on the moon.. there is nothing there, that's why they never went back"

and here we have China testing tons of shit, landing on the dark side blah blah blah

made ZERO SENSE to stop the missions, esp. since so much was invested

US is not the type of country to just do something and quit.. they keep going

PROGRESSIVE USA... keep it going.. keep exploring, keep dominating

that is the USA WAY

They could also turn the camera live to the earth and take some photos. There are no photos of the earth. There is a reason.

They landed on the dark side. Why? Because you can't really disprove it!
