TdF
Anyone enjoying the Tour de France?

Even though I have taken issue with the concept of Ultra "runner" it was that book "Born to Run" which inspired my appreciation of race sport.

After reading that book one may also enjoy re-watching "Forest Gump" with a new perspective and gain new appreciation for running/cycling.

It is way more of a 'team sport' than it would first appear, that is for sure.

They should allow the riders to dope however they want, but they have to be transparent about what, and how much, they are using. For science. If they die.

I have pondered if that medically regulated doping would in fact be healthier for Professional Athletes which routinely take their system beyond regular capacity to its extreme limits. Such activity is certain to have negative impact to the system where medically regulated doping professionally managed would help to maintain the health of the athletes.

and if Arnold can become a major political figure in the USA then doping should be legal and professionally managed for professional athletes.

Contact Sports could be some exception. It would increase the capability to generate power which could be dangerous and perhaps in contact sport there should be more rigorous testing and harsher punishment of offense.

RE: TdF
I think Lance Armstrong kind of destroyed the image of the tour de france

haven't watched it since those days

of course I still adore the kraftwerk classic TOUR DE FRANCE

RE: TdF
I missed out on the fun of the Lance years and only in the past few years have I developed interest to watch this event. There is not a great excitement about it as I imagine was created during the reign of Armstrong which must have been a fantastic spectacle.
