Ayn Rand's "virtue of selfishness" has an occult cover
seen this cover many times, but I just noticed it is pretty occult.

unfinished pyramid with "MAN" on top. Rising sun.. and something that looks like the tower of babel.

Could never get into her...maybe because of her ignorant attacks on Buddhism.

But she basically teaches selfishness.

She was an egomanic and the very definition of 'cult leader'.

Some even say a sex partner of Philip Rothschild, who commissioned the writing of 'Atlas Shrugged'.

it's quite obvious she had some type of covert-anti christianity thing going but operating out of the far right.

those covers look pretty cool though stylistically, but the New World Order message is clear.

Remember, the NWO isn't just Socialist. it's CAPITALIST backed Socialism.

Rand's attacking Buddhism, ignorant or not, don't make a lot sense in the first place. Her philosophy 'Objectivism' is obviously influenced by the Nietzsche who himself drew heavily on Buddhism (Crowley recycled a lot of Nietzsche as well).
Buddhism could be criticized for having a selfish moral philosophy as well.
"Conservatives" cherry pic her philosophy the same way leftist cherry pic Marx.
The Rand crowd is very strange, how you can wave the Bible in one hand and Rand in other is beyond me. Also with body of work produced German existentialists (Nietzsche and Heidegger in particular) that are not moral bankrupt (the moral philosophy of the men might be awful) the epistemology and metaphysics are very deep. Rand is just a shallow, dumbed down, empty version IMO.
A lot of Academic Philosophy professors are hard core socialists and hate the German school, so it isn't very surprising that campus young republicans stop at Rand.
Her books suck ass to.

RE: Ayn Rand's "virtue of selfishness" has an occult cover
Here is a piece, Satanism and Objectivism, from the Church of Satan itself outlining similarities and differences in the two. Differences include satanism’s emphasis on carnal pleasure, the satanic creed’s greater emphasis on doubt, and the creed’s encouragement of a divine within oneself; the similarities between the two, however, the writer believes to be overwhelming.

Objectivism, the philosophy of Ayn Rand, is an acknowledged source for some of the Satanic philosophy as outlined in The Satanic Bible by Anton LaVey. Ayn Rand was a brilliant and insightful author and philosopher and her best-selling novels Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead continue to attract deserved attention for a new generation of readers. I am a strong admirer of Ayn Rand but I am an even stronger admirer of Anton LaVey for the vital differences between the philosophies of Objectivism and Satanism.

Let me conclude this brief overview by adding that Satanism has far more in common with Objectivism than with any other religion or philosophy. Objectivists endorse reason, selfishness, greed and atheism. Objectivism sees Christianity, Islam and Judaism as anti-human and evil. The writings of Ayn Rand are inspiring and powerful. If the reader has not yet experienced her power, try her novelette Anthem for a taste. You will almost certainly come back for more.

Albert Pike said Buddha was the first freemason.

these guys corrupt and twist every religion out there to suit their own needs.

but yeah, I can see how people can think buddhism is selfish as well.

Christianity seems to be the most altruistic religion.

Rand was anti-Christian.

Yes, most people here should know better than to believe such a statement.

To say 'Buddha was the first Freemason' is so ridiculous, I don't know where to begin.

These people are masters of deception.

Just to clarify, there is no evidence that 'The Buddha' had anything to do with or knew anything of Freemasonry and 'The Mystery Religions'.

Freemasonry traces it's root to King Solomon and the mystery religions of Babylon...which predate both Buddhism and Christianity by hundred of years.

The Luciferian mindset was well established before either Buddha or Jesus came onto the scene.

The above are what people like Rand and those of the Luciferian Mindset hate.

They believe that 'evil is good' and 'selfishness is good'.

Light is dark, dark is light.

Freemasonry practices and promotes the very antithesis of the Eightfold Path(Right Livelihood, Right Action, Right Speech).

Like I said, Masters of Deception.

Such is the Luciferian Mindset where evil, being the opposite of good, is also good in and of itself.

great stuff dean.

yeah in asia.. these precepts function pretty much the same as the 10 commandments.

in the west they've warped buddhism to be some kind of luciferian thing.

Yes, if you follow any of these people you will come to understand that they identify with the snake and the tree of knowledge.

'God' in Christianity and 'Enlightenment' in Eastern Traditions identify with 'The Garden of Eden'.

And man's fall from Grace(his True Nature) is engaging with serpent(thought, Thoth) and eating from tree of knowledge(desire, ego).

These moral paths, the 10 commandments and the noble eightfold path, are to help free man from this tree of knowledge/desire/ego and come into union with God/True Nature/Kingdom of Heaven.

Luciferianism is a religion of form and matter.

Christianity and Buddhism are not.

That is a major difference IMO, although they express it in different ways.

great point.

the occultists do seem ego based. they are into feeling "better"

instead of just "being"

once people can read the symbols, it will all make sense.

these occult things say 1000 diff. things, but are actually saying the same thing. that's why their symbols are all the same.
