My favorite for the heavy stuff. Neil deGrasse Tyson is in this masterpiece

To me, music is just melodies. The melody has to be good.

But it is the lyric that will set the song apart.

Lyrics that paint a picture or tell an old story in a new way.

Something sounding "fresh" isn't that important to me, anymore that a nice giftwrap has anything to do with what's inside the box.

Music is, of course, subjective. But as a former English Lit major, this is what I'm going to like.

lyrics are important for songs and pop songs, but imo the best music has no lyrics. the music that lasts usually doesn't have lyrics or at least not intelligible lyrics

lyrics bring good music back down to earth from the heavenly realm

when someone is singing something you can understand, it feels to grounded and 'earthly' if you get my drift

Music is the same as adult entertainment these days.

You have to actually PERFORM, deliver the product live and in person, in order to get paid.

I.E. porn stars working as escorts.

No one is getting into a concert for free, right?
