his MMA needs TONS OF WORK though.

he is very accurate indeed. Precision beats power

I don't agree with the P4P claim. But if he keeps going like this he sure will be

MMA is a different kind of ballgame. Stance differenciate, distances are wider, the octagon makes a huge difference opposing to a square venue. But he's young and very adaptive so this is something he will get the hang of and rule his weightclass then

Comparing Kicking Force Capoeira, Karate, Muaythai & Taekwondo

didn't expect the Tae Kwon Do guy would be so effective! Capoeira is very fast and hard but needs a lot of preparation to execute well i guess and you can throw one of those once and then you need to "charge".The TKD guy seems very dangerous with speedy and powerfull kick but i am curious how fast and consistent he can deliver such kicks with the same intensity and speed. I know most Thai fighters can go on all day delivering these kicks just from the hips with both legs

Great vid Karasu. The leg kicks are no joke. The only way to withstand them (more or less) is to "counter intuitive" move your leg into the kick keeping tension on the muscle and create a slight counter force as it hits.(i.e. turn your hip in the kick) It still hurts but you can take a few more this way. In the end, even the biggest tree's will fall if chopped enough

Omg that would be amazing! Perfect matchup too. Saenchai is 10lbs heavier, a decade older and formally retired. Tenshin otoh is young, fit and has incredible reflexes.

Forget McGregor. I think that's the match to make.

Keep them coming Glimmer!

I love watching technical striking matches.

That was like the precursor to the Chuck Liddel strategy. Circling backwards, hands down, no kicks, no risk of getting taken down.

If any of you think MMA stopped evolving in the '00's, you haven't been paying attention.

RE: Some history and breakdown of traditional Muay Thai
people are saying many of the fighters have not evolved.. the techniques obviously have evolved

so many former PRIDE guys were champs or top of their weight class up until a few years ago
