Would be cool. Takes back to the K1 GP in the 90’s and 00’s if they do 2 fights in one night. Doesn’t matter they are not the topnotch anymore. Fedor, Matt, Rampage. These are real fighters. I would definetly watch it

10 years ago that same list would have been a great one.

These are mostly the fighters I grew up watching. I get more excited over a Frank Mir fight than a Jon Jones or Cormier fight.. Ive never watched a full fight from either.. Only highlights..

I think Roy Nelson or Mir will win the tournament. Leaning towards Mir..

If Mir fights Fedor and doesnt get bombed out in the first couple of minutes I think he will break a limb .

Mir is a legend.. Very underrated.. Best submission artist in MMA history up to thid point IMO

If Mir actually trains properly and gets in shape then he is definitely the dark horse, same can be said for Nelson.

But If we see the guys who fought Mark Hunt turn up, then they won't get very far.

They are talking about Fedor fighting Mir in the first round, are the match makers that stupid? Either way you are going to lose one of the bigger names in the first round. They should match Fedor against Sonnen and Mir against Bader or Mo, use the LHW guys as pawns and if one happens to win well then it becomes exciting anyway. I think I'm worried that Mir will beat Fedor by submission and then he's gone from the tourney.

If all of these fighters do take it seriously and get in good shape, it will be interesting to observe.
