Quote:This is Miramax,” she said. “You can’t say anything.”

Since then, Ms. Godrèche has starred in films in France and the United States. Like Ms. Paltrow, she felt she had to maintain a rapport with Mr. Weinstein, and sent him friendly emails inquiring about party invitations and potential work. “I tried to negotiate the situation over the years, and negotiate with myself and pretend it kind of never happened,” she said.

For 2 decades, while they were making a name for themselves, none of these actresses had a problem enabling this borderline rapist.

yep. why did they stay silent? Why did they let this predator continue doing his thing?

in the US i think if you know of a crime and fail to report it you could be held criminally liable.

Those who know, know! Big Grin

Homo Ian McKellen Says Actresses Used To Proposition Directors For Sex:

https://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_5a38e...5287ac068f

"McKellen, star of “Lord of the Rings” and “X-Men,” said during a recent appearance at Oxford Union that when he started his career in the early 1960s, some women applied for theater jobs with photographs marked with a special message to the directors.

“The director of the theater I was working at showed me some photographs he got from women who were wanting jobs,” he said. “They were actors. And some of them had ― I think these were the initials ― at the bottom of their photograph ‘DRR’ — directors’ rights respected.

“In other words, ‘If you give me a job, you can have sex with me.’ That was commonplace for people who proposed that they should be a victim. Madness.”"

I don't agree that they proposed to be a victim. That would make all whores victims. Trading is trading. Something you have for something you want.

Although, imagine how hot it would be to get headshots with that on them. Just have your pick or try them all!

I'm glad that these degenerate predators are getting their lives ruined, I just wish in the midst of this we didn't have to pretend obviously crazy immoral sluts like Rose McGowan should be taken seriously.

Whenever disgusting men like this exist they are almost always facilitated and enabled by awful women that are the very least need to be shamed for their involvement.

no lives are getting ruined. these people are still walking around swimming in cash

it's just their public reputation has been ruined.

they said they were initiating criminal charges against Harvey but nothing happened

none of these people are going to jail. they just got smeared.
