i see what u did there.

i've only tried once and it was OK for 3 months.

in moderation it is not bad for you imo with positive neurological effects.

i'm talking maybe 5-10 a day

right now i'm down to around 12-15 which is close to my goal of 10.

also if you quit I believe you should scale down rather than go cold turkey.

I'm trying to quite smoking right now. The slightest thing has a tendency to set one off.

why are you trying to quit? the easiest way is to do the e-cigs.

the addiction is more to do with the habit of taking the smoke break rather than the nicotine itself imo

I've been getting bronchitis every year for many years now.

The last two years it's been so bad that I'm worried I'll eventually end up one of those old guys with a tube down his nose.

I don't want that.

I did buy an e-cigarette last Wednesday but my lungs are too messed up to use it yet.

My goal is if I can make it until Friday...I'm going to go to the Asics store at the Premium Outlets, buy the coolest pair of shoes they've got, and then go for the longest ass run I've taken in the last 15 years.

Good luck Dean. Do or do not - there is no try.

Thanks Winnson. I will do my best.

filmmaking is an art though.. but the actors are just the cogs in the machine within the system. just very expensive cogs

That may be so EY. But I can assure you that bronchitis is a different beast.

This is not good.

Dean, I'm starting to think I'm just an Alt of yours. We both live in Michigan, root for MSU and we both have been getting chronic bronchitis due to an inability to quit smoking? I haven't had a smoke since Thanksgiving. We'll see if this one takes.

Scariest moment of my life (aside from both of my kids being born and waiting in the emergency room for them to wheel out my wife after her accident) was getting a full set of chest x-rays recently. I was sure they were gonna be like "Black Death Tumor Lungs, 3 months to live". Instead, they were like "here's an antibiotic and a steroid. Quit smoking". I am heeding their advice...for now. Somebody hits my wife again, though, well all bets are off.

Too bad I don't live in Michigan anymore so we could meet up for a beer.

Keep up the good work. Congrats on quitting.

It's especially important for you, since you have a family that needs you to stay healthy.

I wonder if these hollywood persons are really that dumb or are a lot of them very compromised in various ways, including financially.

Another thing I see is that it is no longer taboo to do commercials for the most famous and highest paid actors in the industry.

doing commercials when you're already rich and famous is just not a good look. before they used to go Asia to do the CMs, now it seems they are shamelessly doing it domestically.

an artist does not whore himself out for commercials, unless he really believes in the product.

I see Samuel L Jackson and Tina Fey doing credit card commercials. Seems immoral to use your celebrity status to encourage people to sign themselves away to a life of debt slavery.

Look at some of the shit movies Jackson has played in. He doesn't turn down a paycheck

I guess it didn't matter whether we elected Clinton or Trump.
