They should have put Rousey in a few easy fights first to get her confidence back instead of putting her back against a monster striker in Nunes. Bad management on Rousey's part. And now she's ruined forever, as like most everybody else, I think will retire from fighting and go her merry way back to Hollywood???!!!

Great post.

RE: UFC 207 Tonight: Rousey's Return
hahaha.

i have a feeling she might come back from a fight against a can.

if she thinks about her career it's better to end your career with a win even against a jobber.

this is so devastating it's unfathomable. the whole world is laughing.

people wouldn't be laughing so hard if she didn't act so arrogantly during her win streak

RE: UFC 207 Tonight: Rousey's Return
^ All of her ill-will towards Meisha came full-circle back to her. "I want her to be remembered for her losses." - Ronda

Now, people are going to remember Meisha for her heroic last-minute comeback win over Holly, while Ronda is remembered for being overhyped, arrogant, overpaid, a bully and KTFO horribly twice.

I still wonder why Tate really retired.

Finally gets some legitimacy in the division by beating Holm, loses her first title defense and quits before she could earn a big payday.

I actually think she was foxing, sitting it out in the hope that win or lose, Ronda's comeback might have been more successful, and then be a part of a series of PPV fights involving Holm-Rousey-Tate. That was probably Dana's plan.

Meisha is too hot to fight anyway. She know she was pretty good but not enough to stay on top.

She probably wants to have babies.

She can still beat just about anyone on the ground. It's just that she's been figured out and once her weakness was found she was done.

I still haven't seen the fight but I find it incredible that they threw her straight into a title fight with another striker. Zuffa era UFC never really understood matchmaking.

If he could teach her to hit without being hit, ala classic Mayweather, then it could work???!!!

Ronda will never be a Counter-Striker. Edmond just taught her hand-speed, which isn't applicable because she never learned to move or defend.

Her style should still be to move forward, but she needs to do so with some calculation, footwork, hands-up and a backup strategy.

RE: UFC 207 Tonight: Rousey's Return
she has super gimpy movements. that is why I laughed when they named her top P4P.

she has no fluidity of movement

someone like Nunes moves like Anderson Silva. very fluid and spiderlike.

Ronda Rousey moves like Steve Jennum or Harold Howard
