ufc on fox 21 does record low numbers
The card, headlined by Demian Maia's quick submission win over Carlos Condit, did a 1.2 rating and 1,983,000 viewers. The show was previously reported as doing 2.22 million viewers on the overnights, but as noted at the time, that was a rating for the FOX network in prime time, which didn't include the UFC show on the West Coast, but was boosted by ratings in 15 markets that aired NFL preseason games instead of the UFC show. http://www.mmafighting.com/2016/8/30/127...ow-numbers

Im hoping that the new Chinese owners can bring back PRIDE. A ressurrection of Pride in its original format, with soccer kicks, tournaments, roids allowed would be good for the UFC in the long run. They were able to create more super-heroes with only a fraction of the UFCs talent pool.

I want to see big time vale tudo return to Brazil. It'll never be the same without those great vale tudo events. The Brazilian scene is what it's always been about to me. All the top Brazilians fighting in the UFC cage doesn't seem right. I miss those days when Strike The Eagle used to troll the gringos on Tatame. Good times.
