Dos Anjos has had the shortest prime ever? Like 18 months or so.

Did you notice how much he lacked his usual aggressiveness. It might have been me, but he looked smaller than usual too.

Alvarez is an stick-and-move type out-fighter so it was a good recipe to beat a hardcore pressure fighter like Dos Anjos.

But damn... it was like that fight never really got started.

I felt horrible for Pyle. He's an older guy and defensive type fighter.

He got overwhelmed by a wildman, hung in there, tried to come back, only to get BADLY KTFO from a Flying Knee.
He was face down grunting and panting for like a whole minute after the KO.

I hope he retires...

He did look smaller, and not recovering from the inital punch that wobbled him in rd1 makes me think his cardio wasnt very good for this fight either.
