i am 100% normal while walking, but I still can't run.

still compared to before it would take me 2 weeks to get back to a normal walking gait

still very impressive. Only 1 treatment too.

actually 2. I went back 1 week later to do the clicker acupuncture treatment. they use a clicker pen to stimulate various acupressure points.

the injection wasn't roids as the pain didn't return after 1-2 days.. but I'm still trying to figure out what it was. I'm thinking it's a type of corticosteroid herbal analogue.

i would say it was a very functional recovery as I never rested my foot.

just used it as normal and within 3-4 days I was walking normally without pain.

going down and up stairs causes some discomfort and I still can't run

Qi is real. it's the energy flow and circulation within the body.

the entire body is one interconnected entity. western medicine likes to treat each part as separate.

What gets me is that these points in the body should be common knowledge to understand one's own body for health, massage, for self-defense. but most Western people are still ignorant of these various points of the body. Knowledge of these points would help a person being healthier, more energetic, more in tune with their health and so forth. And possible save on medical expenses in the long run. But on the Western scale this may not happen for a long time. I welcome the intrusion of Eastern ideas. Kinda of like when everybody thought the Japanese would steamroll into the US in the early '90s...ala RISING SUN where'd they buy all the property, have all the money and influence American thinking. Remember the Nakatomi Plaza building in DIE HARD.

I.m still waiting for films with the Japanese being replaced by Chinese. Bruce Willis could have another career...

this stuff works and is standard protocol for vets nowadays.

PET INSURANCE covers acunpuncture yet for so many years western scientists declared it a pseudoscience.

around 80% of traditional medicine works.

i think it works but is not as effective as acupuncture

chiropractors work with the same principles using diff. language imo.

the spine is not in alignment, therefore chi is and circulation is blocked off.

but a lot of it is hocus pocus.

the thing with acunpuncture is that u can feel it working. i could feel my ankle bubbling up with energy and chi when they did the treatment. like waves and waves tingling electricity.

i'm a big believer in spinal traction.. like hanging on a bar to straighten the spine.

I do it with my dog holding him upright and letting his legs dangle. I believe this has improved his disc hernia immensely.

what happens is when you stretch the spine like this the spinal disc elongates and the herniated gel-like material retracts back into the disc.

doing this also prevents you from losing height after 30-35 years old.

when I get foot massages, sometimes when they press a spot I get a sensation in my stomach or other region.

pressure points are definitely connected to various regions. the reasoning is solid. massage is also very beneficial for relaxation and stimulating pressure points. but I also believe massage can mess you up if they aren't doing it the right way. some people have been paralyzed by thai style massages

update 2.. I can now electro-dance with top intl DJs... but running is still risky but doable.

been about 2 weeks and I don't even notice it when walking.

i am simply amazed at how 1 major treatment could lead to such a fast recovery. I am going to try to figure out what it was they injected. I will tell my girl to call the hospital

Those who know, know! Big Grin
